Position Overview: Creek Development is seeking a motivated and ambitious summer analyst to join our team for a 10-week internship program. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in construction management and design, real estate development, project management, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student who is eager to learn and contribute to exciting real estate projects in the vibrant cities of Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, and San Leandro.
Responsibilities:
Assist full-time team members with the management of construction and real estate development projects.
Support project managers in day-to-day activities, including site visits, client meetings, furniture sourcing, and working with local municipalities.
Conduct market research, analysis, and outreach to identify potential investment opportunities.
Assist in financial modeling and analysis for various real estate development projects.
Prepare presentations, analyses, and reports for internal and external stakeholders such as investors and real estate brokers.
Work on CreekDev portfolio companies, such as Apollo Permits.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in college and pursuing a degree (preferably in business, engineering, economics, finance, architecture, construction, real estate, or a related field - but we welcome applicants of all majors).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with people from different backgrounds.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Email and Microsoft Word (bonus points for experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace Products, and CAD).
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Previous work experience in hospitality, food service, real estate, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Must be able to work in-person at our office in Oakland, CA for the duration of the 10-week internship program (having a car is a plus, but not a requirement).
