Safe Passages

Located in Downtown Oakland, this project unites two historic buildings into a cohesive 16,000-square-foot community hub for Safe Passages. The design preserves the character of the original buildings while introducing new programmatic elements including counseling rooms, a childcare center, art studios, a kitchen, and open work areas that bring light, connectivity, and vitality to the space.
