Jean Street
The Jean Street project involved an urban infill ground up construction of 6 units utilizing a little-known Oakland development path known as the mini-lot development. It allows for a unique subdivision wherein each row house is classified as a single family home with no HOA or fees required. In this case, there was a single family residence that was relocated to the back of the lot, and new construction of 6 row houses to the front of the lot to increase housing density.
